Triple Threat Track Starr is no stranger to the spotlight but this time around things are a little different. The Jamaican born hit-maker has truly made a name for himself producing hits for some of your favorite artist but now he’s ready to take center stage with the release of his latest single ‘Oleku‘. Now many of you might know him from his massive hit records but his journey in music started long ago growing up in Kingston,JA. The self taught musician/producer knew at a young age that music was gonna play a big role in his life but just how big he could never imagine. As a kid playing the saxophone and piano truly became a part of his everyday life playing in the school and church choir. Church played a huge part in his musical journey in Jamaica, while being raised by his Aunt who was a pastor. This was apart of his everyday life before permanently moving to the states to live with his mom in NYC. As a kid frequently traveling between New York and Jamaica Track Starr was truly inspired by Hip-Hop music in the 90s and early 200s as he listened and studied the greats like Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and DMX> along with producers Timbaland and The Neptunes.

A young Track Starr finally moved to the Bronx to be with family before heading to Connecticut where oddly enough his passion for producing Dancehall music came alive. While attending Western Connecticut State University he really began to tap into his Caribbean roots. After graduating and working a real time 9-5 job he realized that his passion for music was more than just a dream and within time in 2015 after having some success with Jamaican artist back home with #1 Dancehall records on ITunes, he decided to take music serious a no longer look at it as just a hobby. It was then shortly thereafter where he quit his job in 2017 to do music full time and really take his career to the next level. Now within that year he would go on to collaborate with new comer HoodCelebrityy which led to him creating her smash hit ‘Walking Trophy‘ which exploded everywhere in 2018.

Track Starr truly began to see that betting on himself as an artist was starting to pay off as doors continued to open for him, which led to him working with some of musics finest artist. Within time he produced for major artist including Shaggy, Karol G, Spice, Trey Songz, Fabulous, Sizzla, Konshens, Steflon Don, Ayo Jay and more which allowed him to showcase his diversity in music as an artist and producer. Now although he was known to be shy and shined behind the scenes, it was his gift to create songs and record them before that pushed him to greatness so it only made sense for him to finally get behind the mic and showcase his talents as a full fledged artist. Earlier this summer he dropped the summer scorcher ‘Work It‘ as he teamed up with rising star Beach Boii for what turned out to be the perfect buzz record to heat things up. He quickly followed it up with ‘Shake It‘ alongside Sekeunce which only made his growing fan base want even more. Now he’s back with his single ‘Oleku’ which is the perfect blend of his Caribbean & African roots as he taps into the Afro Beatz genre which perfectly showcases his skills as a producer, singer and songwriter. Get into the track available on all music streaming platforms which is sure to be in heavy rotation as he gears up to finally release his long awaited debut next year.
