Joshua Arnoux is a man of many talents and in the world of entertainment, the best in this business always are. The NYC native earliest memory of music was growing up at his grandmothers home in Queens as his family of musicians would play the drums & the piano. The musically inclined youngster quickly became a fan of music as he watched his uncles play different instruments and his mother sang. But growing up in the 80s one of his biggest influences as child has to be the iconic Michael Jackson. At home Josh grew up listening to many different genres of music from Funk, Jazz, Gospel and R&B and which would ultimately play a huge part in his musical journey. Now as time went on he would sing in the youth choir and it was there that he truly showed his gift as a singer/songwriter after creating an original song for his siblings and cousins at the tender age of 9. Josh would continue to sing with a few of his talented friends as they performed as an r&b group which truly showcased his passion for music.

The singer/songwriter continued to flourish in music as he attended the prestigious LaGuardia High School as a vocal major, where he immediately felt right at home as he was surrounded by other kids who shared his passion for the arts. Becoming a classically trained singer opened up a whole new world of music to him which eventually would introduce him to fellow classmate/singer Anisa who would go on to form a group with him and other friends called ‘God’s Plan‘. Now as they tried to make things works as a group on and off again, Josh still pursued music as a musician/producer working with some of musics finest at the infamous Daddy’s House studios but ultimately he had to make a choice about which direction he would take in regards to secular or gospel music after signing a record deal which ultimately didn’t work out in their favor.

As time went on it was clear that Josh’s passion for music lead him to continue pursuing his gift as solo artist but it was the behind the scenes work that meant the most to him. He once again tapped into his gift of writing and producing music along with Anisa who also stepped out of the shadows of her church to finally pursue music on her own terms. So it only made sense that the two would join forces as Joshua launched his record label RNU records after years of inspiration from watching Gospel greats like Kirk Franklin & Donald Lawrence. Within time the two began to create magic with help from producer Brandon Daniels and released Anisa’s soul stirring single ‘You Reign’. The combination of these two proved to be priceless and within a years time they have created a huge buzz which led them to perform and major music conferences including the Stellar Awards weekend. That experience alone proved to him that they were good enough to be in the room alongside some of Gospel music’s finest and pushed the two to get right back in the studio to work on Anisa’s highly anticipated debut project. Today we finally get a taste of what’s to come from her upcoming EP with the release of her powerful new single ‘Covered‘ which is sure to be in heavy rotation as her audience continues to grow and pushed RNU records to the forefront. After listening to this record, it’s clear to see why Joshua Arnoux is gonna be a force in the world of Gospel Music as songwriter, producer and CEO.
