Every now & again we come across a new artist that catches our attention and this time it’s rising star LX. The singer/songwriter born & raised in Las Vegas,NV has been making quite a name for herself over the past few years , so it should come as no surprise that she has finally come across our radar. The pop vocalist who sites Queen , Mariah Carey , Beyoncé, Gwen Stefani , Britney Spears , Bruno Mars & Ariana Grande as some of her musical influences totally makes sense being that she started out just like them singing at the tender young age of Seven. LX comes from a musical family background so it makes sense that she followed in her mom’s footsteps by singing in her church’s youth choir. Her first ever solo backed by a sixty piece orchestra was at the tender age of 7 and after that performance , it was then that a young Lexy knew that she was destined to be an entertainer.
Now of course LX put in work over the years taking vocal/dance lessons as well as Artist Development with some of entertainments finest including Greg Enrique , Rodney Alejandro , Cheaza Figueroa , Lisette Bustamonte & Terance Reddick. Living in LA & Studying at the Musicians Institute is where LX truly began to thrive as a singer/songwriter as she began to work with Jamie Jones of ALL 4 One fame, his production team The Heavyweights , Deanna Dellacioppa , Crash Cove & Sharri Short. Now with this combination of hit-makers it was clear to see that she was well on her way. As a performer LX has shined in the spotlight and as supporting vocalist with dynamic performances at Downtown Disney, Summer Jam/End of Summer Block Party (98.5 KLUC) , performing the National Anthem at the Phoenix Suns Game and the UNLV Basketball Game. Now if that wasn’t enough she also hit the big stage at the Latin Grammys as supporting vocalist for Luis Fonsi, Victor Manuelle , Diplo and Bomba Estereo performance of ‘Despacito’ as well on NBC & Telemundo for Alejandra Guzzman.
There are so many artist out right now who release music with no substance or quality behind it , but that can’t be said for LX. Her latest visuals for her buzz worthy singles ‘One Regret’ & ‘Stolen’ have clearly shown us that with the right talent and team magic can truly happen.
