So its been awhile since we have featured any new talent on here , but this is one women who was worth getting the spotlight attention. Actress/Writer/Producer and all around artist Shana Solomon is a rising star who has just began to take on the world of Hollywood. The Bronx,NY native first dreamed of becoming an actress after starring in a school play as Cinderella at the tender age of 8 and from then on there was no looking back, this was truly what she wanted to be. The Lehman College graduate paid her dues in NYC taking classes and perfecting her craft for years until she landed her first big break on TV on the groundbreaking NBC series ‘Law & Order SVU’. Now with an incredible resume this actress credits include roles on NBC’s “Shades Of Blue” with Jennifer Lopez, BET’s “First Wives Club” with Jill Scott, TBS’s “Search Party”, Amazon Studios “Modern Love”, HBO’s “The Deuce”, Steven Spielberg’s and Ed Burns’, “Public Morals” ,”The Big Sick” with Ray Romano, “Born Guilty” , “Crown Heights with Lakeith Stanfield & HBO’s “Divorce” with Sarah Jessica Parker its clear that Shana is already on her way to greatness.

With a resume like that one would think an artist would be satisfied, but that just wasnt enough for the actress. She decided to not just wait on a role and created her own one woman show ‘The Closet Bitch’ which she wrote , produced and starred in. Now with the success of her show , it only made sense that she would bring it to life on screen. She then teamed up with her partner director William Alexander Runnels to create her web-series and now the world is finally starting to see the brilliance of this seasoned actress that is just beginning to shine.
