Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Ruff Ryders Reunion Past, Present & Future Concert held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY . The sold out event was packed with fans who came out for a special celebration to see of some of hip-hops finest acts from the late 90s. Rapper Drag-On kicked off the show which got prepared fans for what was sure to be an epic night. The queen of Ruff Ryders EVE then hit the stage and took over as the only female on the bill could as she cranked out hit after hit from her huge catalogue. Now if that wasn’t enough hit-maker Swizz Beatz was up next and trust me he pulled out all the stops. Swizz catalogue alone production wise could it be a concert on its own but to make it even better he brought out special guest like Cassidy, Remy Ma , Fat Joe & French Montana which took the show to a whole other level. To be real the concert could of ended there and fans would’ve been satisfied like they were at summer jam but there was still more to come. The Lox took the stage next and took over as they cranked out some of their classics but trust they had some tricks up their sleeves as well. During their set they made sure to show Brooklyn love bringing out guest like Lil Cease , M.O.P & Uncle Murda which kept the crowd hyped. Now for the closer it was only right to have DMX end this concert and trust me he went out with a bang. The heartfelt rapper left it all the stage last night as he performed every smash hit you could think of which proved to the world why he was the king of Ruff Ryders with not one special guest might i add. Now trust me when i say my summary is nothing compared to what fans felt watching the concert, because it was an experience that just had to be seen in the flesh. Lucky for you i have exclusive footage up for a limited time so watch as they all take the stage for a historical moment that will definitely live on in hip-hop history for years to come below. Shout out to Francoise for having us last night and taking care of, its greatly appreciated as always.
