Superstar Jay-Z turned Pier 54 into a Carnival last night in NYC to raise money for his “Making the Ordinary Extraordinary” . Tickets to the carnival were $1,000, and though that’s a pretty high price the proceeds went to the The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Mr. Carters mother Gloria Carter who is the CEO of the foundation was in attendance with her son as well as friends Questlove, Andre Harrell,Kevin Liles,Alex Rodriguez and more. If that wasnt enough one lucky winner of a raffle went home with a brand new Chrysler 300. Guest enjoyed riding rizes and playing the normal carnival games yet the prizes werent stuffed animals and toys. Some of the prizes included Gibson guitars, Prada glasses, Nobu gift certificates, and Nets tickets. Check out pics from the event below.
