Rap superstar Lil Wayne taped his intimate special of the groundbreaking series MTV Unplugged before a live audience at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif., yesterday. The Young money rapper took the stage to perform stripped-down versions of his Cash Money classics and his current chartoppers. Wayne went through hits like “3peat” ” A Milli” “Duffle bgagb Boy” ” Lollipop” and more but his cover of Tupacs “Hail Mary” will be one that people will be talking about for sure. Lil Wayne also performed a new record of his long awaited album “The Carter IV” entitled “Nightmares of the Bottom”.
Lil Wayne’s MTV Unplugged special will are June 12th on MTV & MTV 2 at 9pm.
