Yesterday Grammy award winner Beyonce gave selected fans a treat. Beyonce invited a few fans n press to screen her new music video for “Run the World” as well as preview songs off her new album “4” Held at the Sony Bldg yesterday afternoon fans were in awe of the long awaited video from the pop star. Not only did they get to see it before the public but they got to see it twice. Our friends over at Just Jared gives you more in depth details of the event.

“When editing the DVD [for Beyonce: I Am… World Tour], I noticed that the tone of my voice is different live [than my recording one],” “So I used that live performance tone throughout the record.”

B then sat down, grabbed a bottle of Pellegrino sparkling water, and played five new tracks for the room.

“I wanted to do something refreshing and different,” “So I mixed genres and drew inspiration from touring, traveling, watching rock bands, and attending festivals… I was like a mad scientist, putting lots of different songs together.”
