Every once in awhile we come across a new artist that grabs our attention & this time should come as no surprise. Rising star Tysontae is making a name for himself in LA with the release of his latest single ‘Yeah Aight’. The multi talented artist born in Illinois was inspired early on in life as his father was a musician in church , but living all over the world from NYC , Atlanta to Oman and Qatar in the Middle East also helped the shining talent to create a unique sound all on his own. Now although he states that he studied acts like Drake , Kendrick Lamar & Joey Badass as a teen , it’s clear that he’s paving a path for his own lane for many new artist to follow.

In 2017 Tysontae first made some noise with the release of debut single ‘Lean’ which caught the attention of many via Soundcloud which has led to his ever growing fan base. A year later he dropped his next single ‘Chopsticks’ off his self titled EP which generated a heavy buzz as doors started to open with new opportunities for the rising star. In May of 2019 he embarked on a 7 city tour with R&B singer, Trinidad Cardona , which truly proved that he was ready for the spotlight as he garnered new fans along the way. Now with the release of his latest Zaro Vega(PartyNextDoor) produced single ‘Yeah Aight’ making noise and over 500K streams of of his records , it’s clear why he’s the one to watch. Every once in a while we come across a new artist that gets our attention and this time it’s no different with rising star Stannis Smith . The singer/songwriter born &raised in Albany,GA has come along way from his days singing in the church choir & in school talent shows. The aspiring star has been preparing for his moment in the spotlight for years and when you hear his music , you can immediately tell that he’s studied some of the greats. Growing up artist like Michael Jackson , Whitney Houston , Luther Vandross , Stevie Wonder , SWV , Brandy , Joe , En Vogue , Babyface & Boyz II Men heavily inspired him to become an entertainer. As a child his neighbor actually discovered his gift one morning as she heard him sing along to Stevie Wonder on the way to school. It was in that moment that he knew he wanted to be a singer. While in College at Morehouse Stannis realized his gift as a songwriter after performing one of his original songs during a talent show which received rave reviews and led him to a huge opportunity to perform on television. Now this wasn’t just any ordinary TV show , it was the legendary Showtime At The Apollo. The groundbreaking nationally televised show broke some of the biggest artist in the world and if you made it to that stage, you knew you were well on your way.

Stannis journey was only beginning and after graduating college he hit the ground running as a songwriter and professional background vocalist which also led to his first publishing deal with help from music executive Hiriam Hicks. Over the years he’s graced the stage alongside India Arie , Sharissa , Lathan , Remy Shand & Prophet Jones as a supporting vocalist but that wasn’t enough for him. Hitting the studio is Mr Smith became alive working alongside some of musics finest including Bryce Wilson, Darryl Simmons, J-Dubb(Hitmen) , Teddy Bishop , Jazze Pha , Brian Michael Cox , Dallas Austin , Donnie Scantz , Tamar Braxton , Meelah Williams (702) ,Tiny , Kandi & T-Boz. Now with placements over the years on artist like Her Sanity ,Jen É, Ricki Lee (Australian Idol) & Wade O Brown it was clear that his gift would always make room for him. For some artist that would be enough , but Stannis clearly has a story to tell and now is the time for the world to hear it with the highly anticipated release of his debut EP ‘ Chapter One-Six‘ which is executive produced by hit-maker Tiyon ‘TC’ Christian. The long awaited project will also feature contributions from Multi Platinum powerhouse Meelah Williams (702) , as well Grammy Award winner Kennard Garrett , Marcus Eldridge , Johnny Thomas and Cam Fletcher. With the buzz surrounding the project after playing for industry colleagues, it is that this solid body of work is just what the game has been missing. The Brooklyn born singer/songwriter who was raised in Greensboro,NC has come along way from his days in school talent shows , plays and church choirs. The aspiring star has slowly but surely been garnering fans over the past year with the help of his last buzz single “Games” which has garnered over 100K streams. The rising star who sites Michael Jackson , Justin Timberlake , Bruno Mars , Maroon 5 , Chris Brown & more as his inspiration is well on his way to achieving the same fame after selling our shows in NYC.

Now with all that being said you would be shocked to know that he’s only been going at this for over a year. The go-getter actually studied to be a pilot and successfully founded a private aviation company at the age of 20. So it’s clear that when Gatsby puts his mind to something he can make things happen. When people say hard work pays off , it may came off as cliche but it’s most definitely paying off which has now resulted in him partnering with Empire for his music distribution. His highly anticipated EP is currently in the works but fans have finally got something to hold them over with the release of his new single “Let You Go”.
