Last night some of musics biggest stars came out in NYC for Adam Torres annual Ladies Night RnB Super Jam to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The sold out event held at the Barclays Center was jam packed with fans & media ready in excitement to see some of today’s finest in Hip Hop and r&b. The show kicked off with r&b blue eyed soul singer Jon B as he performed a medley of his hit singles ‘Don’t Talk’ and ‘They Don’t Know’. Up next was soulful trio After 7 who cranked out some of their classics like ‘Can’t Stop’ & ‘Ready Or Not’ which had the crowd all in their feelings as they sung along to every word. British Powerhouse Marsha Ambrosius was just the right appetizer to get the crowd in the mood for the special holiday with her sultry vocals as she sang some of her fan favorite hits including ‘Late Nights & Early Mornings’ , ‘Say Yes’, ‘It’s Getting Late’ & ‘Butterflies’. Now if that wasn’t enough next to hit the stage was rising star Avery Wilson who wowed the crowd with his performance of his heartfelt single ‘Dollar Bill’ and a cover of the Tevin Campbell classic ‘Can We Talk’ which proved why the X-Factor alumni is winning fans over left to right with his debut EP.

Rap Legend Lil Kim hit the stage with a vengeance and trust me the crowd clearly went into a frenzy as the Queen Bee made it clear that she was in the building to put on one hell of a show. Backed by her DJ, Backup singers and marching band the Brooklyn native gave a medley of some of her timeless hits including ‘Queen Bitch’, ‘I Can Love You’ , ‘Float On’ , ‘Crush On You’ , ‘Get Money’ , ‘All About The Benjamins’ , ‘The Jumpoff’ and her new single ‘Go Awff’. Trust me the show could of easily ended there and the crowd would of been satisfied but soulful crooner Mario was ready to take the ladies on a journey as soon as he hit the stage. The r&b powerhouse took the audience on a ride as he performed some of his hits like ‘Break Up’ , ‘Just A Friend’ , ‘Braid My Hair’ , ‘How Do I Breathe’ & ‘Let Me Love You’ which was the perfect way to set the mood for the holiday. Love & Hip Hop’s powerhouse K.Michelle was right on standby to pick up where he left off as the ladies in the crowd cheered her on as they sang along to her ladies anthems like ‘Cant Raise A Man’ , ‘Love Em All’ & ‘My Life’. Now lets be clear the love & hip songstress might be for the new millennial’s to sing along to but the First lady of Bad Boy Grammy Award winning r&b diva Faith Evans was just the right touch for this crowd of r&b lovers. The soulful powerhouse hit the stage escorted by her hubby Stevie J and made it known that with the little time she had to perform she was gonna give the crowd everything they been waiting for. Faith took it back to the 90s as she performed some of her classics including ‘Aint Nobody’ , ‘All Night Long’ , ‘Again’ , ‘You Gets No Love’ and her club anthem ‘Love Like This’ which turned the sold out show into a full out dance party.

I promise you there wasn’t a person in that building who wasn’t on their feet enjoying this perfect night of love & music and things were only gonna get better as Philly native Musiq Soulchild made his way to the stage to give the crowd just a taste of what they been missing as he performed some of his timeless records including ‘Don’t Change’ ,’Love’ , ‘Just A Friend’ & ‘Buddy’ before turning things over to Atlanta’s own Jagged Edge. The R&B quartet wasted no time getting the ladies deep in their feelings as soon as they hit the stage performing their hits like ‘Lets Get Married’,’Promise’& their party anthem ‘Where The Party At?’ which literally had the building shaking as every danced and sang along like they were right with them on stage. Seriously this show couldn’t get any better but the legendary SILK was up next and i don’t think anyone was ready for what was in store next. The quintet hit the stage like they been ready to take over the show and trust me that’s exactly what they did. The fellas started their set off with their anthem ‘Meeting In My Bedroom’ which clearly was setting the mood for what was to come and trust me i think they made it known that they are back and hear to stay. They closed out their set with their classic hit ‘Freak Me’ which basically hypnotized every lady in the audience because if their plans were to set them in trance then by all means they succeeded in every way.

This concert was never ending and just when you thought it couldn’t get better, the show continued to deliver with the final act of the night being the incomparable powerhouse Brian Mcknight. The music genius himself hit the stage and delivered a medley of his classic hits that just took over the venue like no other crooner could. Performing hits like ‘Shoulda , Woulda , Coulda’ , ‘One Last Cry’ , ‘Anytime’ & ‘Back At One’ was the perfect way to close out a show and send the audience home with just the right amount of love for Valentine’s Day weekend. Honestly Adam Toress and team outdid themselves with this concert and if you were there then you know exactly what i mean. Now if you missed out then shame on you because i made it clear that this must see event would sell out. Now for a limited time we have exclusive footage from the show to check out. But trust me if this is any indication of what happens annually, then next year will be even better than ever.
