Today it has been announced that the multi platinum r&b divas XSCAPE will finally reunite on stage after disbanding over 15 years ago. All 4 original members Kandi , Tiny , Tameka & LaTocha will finally give fans what they been missing at this years Essence Music Festival. The ladies announced last month that they finally settled their differences and were ready to make a comeback , so it comes as no surprise why they chose Essence to make their anticipated return. The girls will hit the stage this year on the closing night on July 2nd along with Solange & Chance The Rapper. The sultry powerhouses released this statement about the upcoming show.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the return of Xscape than in New Orleans with our fans at the world famous, Essence Festival,” the group said in a statement. “Essence Fest is so much more than a music festival, it’s a celebration of culture, music and entertainment. We are excited and honored to be included in an incredible line up of artists and performers, including the living legend, Diana Ross!”
