Last night we had the pleasure of coming out to the special NY launch of this years upcoming 25th anniversary of Reggae Sumfest. The big event set to take off this summer on July 16th – July 22nd in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The special event held at the Skyrooom in Times Square sponsored by Red Stripe and Downsound Entertainment was the perfect way to kick off what will clearly be one of Hell of a celebration this summer. We were treated to special cocktails , amazing finger foods & unlimited Red Stripe while enjoying live performances throughout the night which only gave us a taste of what’s to come for this years big event. Now if that wasn’t enough we had the pleasure of hearing from the tourism board , the head of Reggae Sumfest and others who made sure to let us know that this year will be not only be as great as the last 25 years but even better. This year artist including Tory Lanez , Movado & Christopher Martin were just a few of the names announced who will take the stage for some of the big fetes which will be talked about for years to come. It’s been said by Josef Bogdanovich, President of Down Sound Entertainment that ” The concept of “Our Music, Our Festival” appeals to the worldwide community eager to share in Jamaican experience. “Jamaica is infectious,” .
