Last night we hard the pleasure of seeing rising stars Chloe & Halle live at the PlayStation Theater in NYC Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment were the perfect choice to open up the show for the sultry siren Andra Day. The two ladies took over the stage like pros captivating the audience with their angelic voices and polished moves. Their 30 minute set flowed perfectly as the sisters not only sang & danced but played their instruments as if it was second nature to them. After last night performance we clearly could see what Beyoncé saw in them because these girls are what music has been missing. Now of course we couldn’t pass up the chance to see the Grammy Nominated sultry powerhouse Andra Day live in the flesh and trust me it was well worth the wait. The sassy yet poised entertainer rolled her “Cheers To The Fall Tour “ into town and trust me the house was packed & ready for one hell of a show. The soulful songstress backed by a 4 piece band and 2 background singers gave the crowd everything they wanted & more as she performed some of her fan favorite hits like ” Rise Up ” , “Rearview ” , ” The Only Way Out ” , “Cheers To The Fall ” , along with new tracks and a cover of Nina Simone & Erykah Badu. Her performance last night just proved how much her voice & sound was needed to help fill the void of real music and from what we saw she most certainly has more on the way.
