This past weekend 107.5 WBLS ,Hot 97 & WLIB has once again taken over the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC for the 2016 Circle Of Sisters Expo. The two day event was jam packed with thousands of fans from the tri-state area who couldn’t wait to come out and enjoy all the various things to get into this year. The expo in itself was filled with tons of vendors and booths who sold everything from Food, Clothing, Music, Books ,Toys, Hair Care, Health & Fitness products among other things. Panels were once again held over the weekend with seminars on every topic you could think of including Marriage, Relationships , Health , Politics, Police Brutality , Wealth , , Black in Hollywood ,Fashion , Branding , Hair Care ,Education , Cooking , The Music Business , Women Empowerment and more. Some of our favorite celebs in Music, Television , Politics , Radio , Fashion & more sat in on these panels and trust the Circle Of Sisters delivered as always.

Superstar Rapper/Actor Common joined Rev Al Sharpton on a Panel to talk about everything from politics , relationships , black lives matter & more. Actors Rotimi , Clifton Powell and Ninja Devoe sat with Mona Scott Young on a Red Carpet panel to discuss the ins & outs of the entertainment business. TV Host/Comedian Loni Love made her presence known on the life style , love & relationship panel with Love & Hip Hop star Tara Wallace , singer Joe and radio host Shirley Strawberry. Hot 97’s own Ebro Darden joined a panel with Bishop Hezekiah Walker as well to speak about the importance of voting and the power of Black Lives Matter, while former athlete turned tv host John Salley spoke with Chef Brenda Beener about the importance of fitness , health and wellness.

Superstar actress Vivica Fox stopped by The Expo to talk with fans & media about her new projects along with the support of AARP NY. The King of R&B Bobby Brown of course was back once again to promote his famous fried chicken & barbecue sauce with a special cooking demonstration. He also took to time to do a meet and greet with his fans who also purchased a copy of his memoir . Mona Scott Young held it down with her Myx By Moscato lounge as fans got a chance to meet the entertainment mogul along with some special guest like Tara Wallace , Peter Gunz , Rich Dollaz , Young B & Mariah Lynn from the hit VH1 Love & Hip Hop series. The legendary Jennifer Holliday stopped by to promote The Color Purple On Broadway as she makes her return to the stage as Shuge Avery in the Tony Award winning play. Comedic stars Luenell , Kym Whitley ,George Wallace & Brian Hooks all came through to promote their latest projects while meeting with their fans as well.

Now if that wasn’t enough Ashley Stewart definitely tore down the runway with their exclusive fashion show as they debuted some of their new looks for the fall. Now of course coming to the circle of sisters you cant forget the music aspect of it. Some of our favorites in R&B hit the stage like Joe, Mario , Yuna , KeKe Wyatt , Rotimi & Ro James to promote their latest albums which definitely had the crowd going crazy singing along to every song throughout the day.
