So last night we had the pleasure of checking our Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss in the hit off broadway show Newsical The Musical. Now the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is no stranger to the stage but this was definitely nothing like she’s ever done before. The Georgia peach joined the 4 other cast members in the hilarious sketch comedy musical which touches on everyday hot topics in the media. Now of course we figured this show was staged and stripped to a tee but we was presently surprised that the show was as current as the events which happened earlier in the day. Kandi fell right in line with the ensemble cast with her witty timing in a few comical numbers, but shined just the same when she sang a few tunes about finally being on broadway (off). We got to chat with the No Scrubs diva who opened up to us about how exciting it has been to step onto the stage and showcase another side of her talents.
